Eclipse was one of 39 cats rescued on Isla Mujeres, Mexico by Clinica Veterinaria de Isla Mujeres. COVID-19 hardships continue to challenge local placement, so HALO (Helping Animals Living Overseas) and Wings of Rescue stepped in to facilitate flying these animals to Massachusetts.

The Wings of Rescue flight touched down on March 2, 2021. The cats then entered mandatory quarantine facilities made possible by Sweet Paws Rescue. This transport was truly a labor of compassion and love for animals.

Eclipse was one of the cats placed by MRFRS. He was adopted in late March and re-named Chowder. Chowder's family says:

"Chowder and the dogs are getting along really well, and he is so loving and affectionate towards us. He can't get enough pats and attention! He is so happy in his forever home."
