Description

Personal, Purposeful and Private sessions with a Veriditas Faculty Member

This year, Veriditas Faculty Members are each offering a special individualized 30 – 60 minute session with a winning bidder via Zoom.

Of course, each one brings a unique set of interests and perspectives to their work. Maybe you share an interest and would like to incorporate new ideas to your own practice of work. Or, maybe you attended a Friday walk or webinar and want to learn more about something you heard. Perhaps you have ideas you’d like to develop further. This is your time and your topic. The faculty bios will also give you a great place to start thinking about what your session might be.

The faculty member will connect with her/his winning bidder to schedule a 30-60 minute Zoom session on the topic chosen by that bidder after the close of the auction. When you meet, your faculty member will hold space and help you make the most of your time and this personal connection. Topic suggestions are listed below, though you're also welcome to create your own topic as well.

FACULTY MEMBER: Kay Mutert

Topic Suggestions/Additional Note from Faculty Member:

*I will be glad to shape our conversation around topics of your interest, particularly in the areas of creativity, ritual and spirituality, Celtic journey or pilgrimage. My years of labyrinth work span many different settings, and I want to encourage you on your labyrinth journey, to offer support for your vision. It has been a joy for me to intertwine with your labyrinth journeys, to listen and respond.

*We can focus on music and movement on the labyrinth, if you’d like.

*Or if you would like for me to create a 10-minute personalized piano music recording for your walk, we will have a zoom session on the sounds or songs you would like. I love improvising meditatively at the piano (or native flute.)

Faculty Bio:

The Reverend Dr. Kay Mutert

Veriditas Master Teacher

The Rev. Dr. Kay Mutert has been working with the Master Teacher program of Veriditas since 2008, offering labyrinth workshops in awakening new creative energy, community building, and spiritual transformation

Her Master Teacher responsibilities include training new facilitators and renewal training for those trained in past years.

She works with organizations to establish labyrinth communities, to hear the hopes of a setting and translate that into an ongoing vision.

In her workshops and trainings she holds the space for participants to discover and develop their own gifts and skills, and to build community.

Kay has been a member of the Veriditas Council, Southeastern USA regional representative, and musician. When she left her local church ministry Kay created "DaySpring - a source of creative expression and renewal of spirit", as a conduit to work with an increasingly larger circle of community.

Through her labyrinth work, she uses her experience as musician, minister, teacher and spiritual accompanist with groups and individuals from diverse arenas of life, inviting them to discover the possibilities of the labyrinth to experience a reconnection with the sacredness of life, to find the language for their own setting.

Kay's work helps others find ways for renewal of mind, body, spirit and creative energy, through retreats, workshops and sacred events.

Her recent personal years of loving nine grandchildren in their journeys calls forth the call for the labyrinth in the lives of the future.
