This beautiful double-matted photo won a Gold Medal in the category of landscape photography in the 2014 World Photographic Cup competition. Twenty-two nations took part in the competition. The photographer, Eve Turek, has signed the mat board. The matted photo measures 10" x 20" and is aptly titled, "Meditation." Mrs. Turek and her husband own and operate the Yellow House Gallery and the Sea Dragon Gallery in Duck, NC. She refers to the work that she does as Mindful Nature Photography. Much of her work captures scenes in and near the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
