Description

Hummingbirds of the Gottlieb Native Garden is a photo-rich collaboration between a nature photographer and a scientist to unite images and words celebrating the jewel-like hummingbird.  With 160 pages and 87 gorgeous color illustrations, the book will delight and inform.

Dan and Susan Gottlieb, passionate advocates for water conservation and native plants, have created an urban oasis in this Beverly Hills garden.  The hillside garden provides habitat, food, shelter and refuge for birds. UC Davis is partnering with the Gottlieb Garden to undertake an on-site research study on hummingbird health and conservation.
