Artist’s Statement

I am pleased to donate this artwork for auction, which I painted a few years ago, to help raise funds for ArtsWestchester. This abstract painting is acrylic on canvas.

I have always loved to draw.  In college, I minored in Art - mainly life drawing. After graduation, I moved to NYC for work and there I continued my art education, taking evening art classes at the Art Student League in contour drawing and pen & ink - classes that greatly influenced the future direction of my art.

About 15 Years ago, I began painting using acrylics on canvas. 

My works are abstract visual introspections. 

May they take you away ~ from where you are ~ if only for a moment.
