I live and work in Incline Village, Nevada, on the north side of Lake Tahoe, which means my family is very aware of the threat of wildfires in mountain communities. It's not an "if," it's a "when." Therefore, I'm honored to be a part of The Ashes to Art Project and help fund volunteer fire departments in Colorado.

My painting of a late afternoon Colorado meadow was compsoed with the ashes provided by the Project, and I hope it brings joy...and a good donation to the cause!
