Interwoven Humanity and Nature

As a Fiber Artist, I see the woven structure as a metaphor for how beautifully we are connected to each and nature. We really coexist most of the time so brilliantly. Broken threads can be mended and that will strengthen the repeating, soft, undulating pattern to flow on catching light. Nature has her own magnificent way of mending the brokenness that happens naturally or man by man. Looking closely at the ashes and the charred branches, you will see life; new growth ready to begin again. The metal fibers dance across the frame, catching light in the human world--this is hope. Seeing it may take some work on your behalf so do not give up; hope is alive and well, just as the regeneration of life in the woodland's neatly tucked under some leaves.
