The artwork is called "Windchill." The leafless trees reflect arboreal survivors of a forest fire. By using lone exposure, I represented time and change in the movement of the clouds. The large canvas print was accidentally damaged along the wooden frame, so I filed away a bit of the canvas along the entire border to make it consistent. Then I used the ashes to color all around the edge, fixing the piece and adding an important symbolic element of rising and healing through the ashes.
