Description

Vernon Kilns ceramic plates designed by Rockwell Kent. Blue luncheon plate, 8 1/2 inches, from "Our America" series commemorating America's fishing industry, and brown dinner plate, 10 1/2 inches, from the "Moby Dick" series. Rockwell Kent was the artist for Herman Melville's book.


Plate hangers are included. 


Rockwell Kent (1882-1971) art can be seen in the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Georgia Museum of Art, and the Chrysler Museum.
