Description
Bid on this limited edition photographic print of nuns circumambulating Karma Drubdey nunnery in Bhutan to pay respect to Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. Rinpoche escaped Tibet and founded the nunnery in 1968. The photo was taken by Olivier Adam in 2016.
Olivier Adam was trained as a physicist and gradually turned to photography through the years. He is working now as a freelance photographer and teaches in Paris within the school of photography Auguste Renoir. He has collaborated with Sofia Stril-Rever, Matthieu Ricard, and Manuel Bauer on the publication of the book Kalachakra: A Mandala for Peace, published in 2008 and is a regular contributor to various magazines. Olivier also works for His Holiness Dalai Lama's Private Office as photographer during the Dalai Lama's visits to Europe.
