In the summer of 2015 Ms. Cardamone collected 108 plants with her yoga teacher on his farm in Unityville, Pennsylvania and researched their medicinal, spiritual, and magical properties. She learned that every plant in nature is useful.
MF Cardamone creates artwork that harkens back to centuries past but is deeply rooted in the present. Her cultural and sociological commentary, delivered in words and images, reveals her sly sense of humor and love of all things botanical.
