Crestone Mountain Zen Center invites the successful bidder for this item to join them between mid-May and September for a four- to seven-night group retreat. The daily meditation and the monastic atmosphere create a unique container that enhances individual practice. Student retreatants will join the monastic community for morning and evening meditation, chanting service, work practice, Dharma Talks, and discussions, and three delicious vegetarian meals a day. There will be opportunities to speak with a senior student or Dharma Teacher about their practice.

Crestone Mountain Zen Center is located on the western slope of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in southern Colorado. Nestled against rugged 14,000-foot peaks and surrounded by 240 acres piñon pine and juniper forest, the beauty and seclusion of our Center is a unique environment for contemplation and inquiry.

Crestone Mountain Zen Center is the monastic training center of Dharma Sangha, the Zen Buddhist practice community founded in 1987 by Zentatsu Baker Roshi, dharma heir of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi.
