This is a lovely Merlot from Lambert Bridge Winery, exclusive to members only.

One could argue that Merlot is the heart and soul of Lambert Bridge. For decades, we have produced a wine of elegance and balance remaining true to our style of bright red fruit and refined tannins. This new vintage of Merlot pulls you in from the start offering a plethora of alluring characters and nuance. At first swirl, aromatics of dried strawberry and freshly cut roses spring forth from the glass. Several minutes of airing reveals dark cherry and milk chocolate notes unique to the 2017 vintage. On the palate, brandied cherries, dark plum and a touch of fine cedar build layers of flavor and texture. The mid palate is broad and dense with refined tannins that dance beautifully with a myriad of fruit flavors.
