Tawanna is a mom of Isiuwa. Isiuwa was diagnosed with a germ cell tumor at age 6. She is now 16 years old and looking forward to celebrating 10 years of being cancer free. Isiuwa loves sports, singing and playing piano. She wants to be a doctor some day and is an Honor Society student taking advanced courses. She’s a really sweet young lady and was voted nicest person in her high school.

Germ cell tumors are growths that form from reproductivr cells and most germ cell tumors occur as cancer of the testicles (testicular cancer) or cancer of the ovaries (ovarian cancer).
