About Thumbs Up Jamaican Jerk:

The owner, Derrick Agate, was born in Jamaica and lived there for 10 years. He did not have much growing up, but he had family and cooking which brought much love and everyone together. Derrick can still remember the smells from his grandma's kitchen in Jamaica, which is where it all began! His grandma and mom were both amazing cooks and Derrick took every opportunity he could to learn how to cook using great Jamaican flavors.
