The Plymouth Cheese Factory is the second oldest cheese factory in the United States - producing high quality and distinctive artisan cheeses for over 125 years. Our cheeses have been crafted, cut and waxed by hand in the same building since 1890.

Inside you will find:

• Our Sage and Herbs cheese is similar to the taste and texture of cheddar, enhanced with aromatic sage, thyme, rosemary, lavender and oregano. It is hand waxed in a pretty dark purple.


• Our Hot Pepper cheese with a taste and texture similar to cheddar, is infused with colorful bits of jalapeno and habanero peppers for more than a touch of heat. It is hand waxed in a warm orange.


• Our Garlic Peppercorn cheese is similar to the taste and texture of cheddar, with the addition of a complex flavor spiced with green peppercorns, onion, garlic and red pepper. It is hand waxed in a dark green.


• Our East Meadow cheese is a similar taste and texture to cheddar, in a buttery and creamy flavor with slightly sweet notes.


• Our Original Plymouth cheese is a signature cheese that offers a full-bodied, sharp flavor rounded out with notes of butter, fruit and nuts. It is hand waxed in bright traditional red.


• Our Smoked cheese is similar in taste and texture to cheddar, and cold-smoked over hickory wood using traditional Vermont practices for a rich, savory flavor. It is hand waxed in brown.
  
  The cheese comes in a wooden box by the same Vermont farm the cheese is made.
