Meet at the Lake Harriet Rock/Rose Garden parking lot. Before strolling through the Roberts Bird Sanctuary, Tom Balcom will share some fascinating tidbits about Dr. Thomas Sadler Roberts. After our walk, we will enjoy a picnic lunch (food provided by the Balcom's) in the park near the Lake Harriet Bandshell. Before we head back to our cars, Tom will entertain us with stories about former bandshell structures designed by our own Judson Church architect, Harry Wild Jones.
