Description

Enjoy a taste of Oaxaca, Mexico - a famous foodie town! The basket will include:

*Mole Coloradito - A delicious and complex sauce traditionally served with chicken and rice. One of the famous "Seven Moles of Oaxaca."
*Chocolate - Oaxaca is also known and loved for its delicious drinking chocolate. Just dissolve on the stove with water or milk and use your new molinillo to create a frothy drink for chilly nights.
*Cacahuates Enchilados - This is the snack that Randy and I can't stop eating - peanuts with chili... and an occasional clove of garlic.
*Chapulines - Legend says if you eat these roasted grasshoppers you are sure to return to Oaxaca. Greasy and salty, just like potato chips, according to Randy.
*Mezcal - Quickly becoming Oaxaca's #1 export. Made from the indigenous maguey plant, this is tequila's more interesting cousin. Have a shot with lime and salt, or make a margarita with a smoky twist to it.
*Coffee - From the Pluma Hidalgo region, where some of the best coffee in the world is grown. We never return home without a good supply of these deep, rich beans.
*Lip Balm - Okay, so you're not going to eat these but you'll want to taste them! Beso de Chocolate (Kiss of Chocolate) and Propoleo y Miel (Propolio and Honey).

Ceramic bowl (pictured) is not included.
