Two Rhone reds from artisan producer Vie Winery, and winemaker (and MWS parent) Todd Seaver: the Grenache-based blend "L'Imaginaire" and the Mourvèdre-based blend "L'Intruse." Both highly rated by Wine Enthusiast:

2016 Vie Winery "L'Imaginaire." 94 points, Editor's Choice. "This is a ripe and relaxed wine packed with mellow, roasted, dried fruit flavors on a smooth, rich texture. Complex accents of dusty earth, rose petals, tea and cinnamon dance around the palate. It is pure pleasure for the second year in a row." 

2016 Vie Winery "L'Intruse." 91 points. "This bold and full-bodied wine has vibrant fruit, herb and spice aromas, a wonderful, appetizing texture and deep, ripe red- and black-cherry flavors to fill it out. Fermented with native yeast and aged in neutral barrels, it is tempting to drink now but sure to hold through at least 2024."
