Second Grade Baby Blanket Description for Auction

Spring has sprung and the 2nd Graders are noticing the house finches building their nests, the bees are buzzing, and we were just visited by a sweet pair of Mallard ducks, looking for a place to have their young! With the arrival of new life, we are crafting a warm and colorful baby blanket that is perfect for a new member of a family -- maybe yours. The students have remembered their knitting skills from First Grade and have knitted over eighty knitted squares, now being lovingly crocheted together by wonderful parents.

Measures:

Approximately 53 “ x 71”.

Please Note:

Because of the type of wool yarn this is, the blanket, when washed, should be washed in cold water, delicate cycle, to minimize the possibility of felting.  Please use low sudsing, mild soap and air dry (please do not use the dryer!).
