From a selection of Pinot Noirs from Joseph Swan Vineyards. 

Each wine comes from a different vineyard within Russian River Valley.  All expertly made to exhibit the distinct terroir of each vineyard.

1 Bottle of Trenton Estates Pinot Noir

The winery's Trenton Estate includes some of the oldest Pinot Noir vines in the Russian River Valley. Yields are very low which in part accounts for the character of the wines from this vineyard. It is planted largely to the Swan clone, more correctly referred to as the Swan selection. A portion of the newer block planted in 1996 contains six Dijon clones.

Lush, spicy dark red fruit, great but not overbearing acidity and plenty of structure, a solid core of gorgeous fruit that was just waiting to emerge. For anyone that is interested in seeing what I saw in that wine, we held more of that wine back than any one before it and will be releasing a few cases with this release. 213 cases and 12 magnums bottled January 2016.
