The 8th grade is proud to offer "A Vintage Handmade Advent Calendar" as our auction project.  

"Loving tended and carried through the years by the 8th grade class, this Advent Calendar was handmade by the Class of 2021 when they were just in First Grade.  Each student knit a square and painted a star, while the parents helped create the felted background.  This calendar comes full of wonderful small surprises from the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms which we are pleased to share with you."  

The pockets are filled with shells, crystals, dried flowers and pinecones, small wooden animals and a wool angel.  If you want, you could take the contents out of the 24 pockets to photograph them as well, since they are not really visible otherwise.  Over the years, we would place these objects into a spiral as we "opened" each pocket.
