Charles Wysocki (1928-2002) was an American painter whose works depict a stylized version of the American life of yesterday.

He appreciated a simple rural life and made many trips to New England, which served to nurture his interest in early American folk art. In spite of becoming a celebrity in the art genre he practiced, he remained a humble man who cherished a simple lifestyle.
