The 2-day Junipers love gathering materials in the studio to make collages! We have experimented with so many different mediums and really enjoyed the independence of choosing what materials we wanted to use. Our most favorite collage of all included using natural materials! First we created the background, using the leftover mud from our nature kitchen - we made mud paint! We applied the paint with brushes and our hands. Then we collected some nature items outside, along with some favorite things from our art shelf, and used glue to collage them on top! The children still ask... When can we do the mud kitchen again?
