The 3 Day Junipers love to paint! Each day, you can find many children at our painting easel, working on projects independently and together. For our Junipers, the process is the important thing - they spend their time watching the paint go onto the paper, seeing the colors mix, using big strokes to fill up the space. They love to work together - sometimes we leave one paper up on the easel for all of class and it gets painted on by nearly everyone! This approach inspired our art pieces - the Junipers worked together to add layers of fun colors, and then once dry, we made prints with cookie cutters on top of our colorful backgrounds. The vivid shapes look like they are dancing - another favorite Juniper activity!
