Description

Rob Larsen (@rob.react) a local graffiti artist, and a published author on the medium, will take you on a 2-hour street art tour that will show you large-scale commissioned murals in highly visible, public areas of Boston, focused in and around Northeastern University. Meet at Tatte on Huntington Avenue to fuel up for your tour (coffee and pastry included), and then plan to walk approximately 1 mile to see works by locally and internationally known graffiti artists and learn how they work and what makes them important.

For those with a passion and energy for more, an optional add-on is to visit the artist's studio (via a short round trip uber ride that is included in the experience) where you will see the artist demonstrate graffiti writing and offer instruction on color, shape and form. This sample graffiti writing experience will be on canvas using brushes, so as to avoid the toxicity of using aerosol paint indoors. The graffiti writing experience adds on approximately 2 more hours for the overall experience.
