Up for bid, HeeJunShin's "Amarylis," a palette knife oil painting, that measures 19" X 16" and is presented in a gold frame.
In the artist's words, "The ephemeral quality of light is the subject of my painting. Being convinced that color is the most effective tool to capture it, I have established myself as a colorist and received McKnight Established Artist Grant in 2012 and 2016. My colorist lineage includes Monet, Hawthorne, Hensche, and Przewodek. The colorists create an illusion of light in colors emphasizing the light key of the moment."
