Among Seaside's greatest successes is the nationally award winning Green Scholars program; an educational curriculum that endeavors to teach STEM skills with meaningful, hands-on connections to the natural world. It promotes environmental sustainability via an educational project management curriculum that provides STEM career readiness. The Green Scholars program is offered to middle and high school students to empower them to realize meaningful change in their schools and communities, while equipping them to participate in the 21st century STEM economy.
