Three monthly programs provide educational activities for preschool
aged children (3 to 5 years old) in the museum’s Nature Gallery. This
program is free with the price of admission (free for members), and offers
new physical, craft, and tactile activities specifically aligned to each month’s
museum-wide theme. Little Explorer and Me is perfect for preschool aged
children, but older siblings will be entertained and engaged too. STEM Storytime pairs a storybook reading with hands on STEM based activities and Preschool Picassos celebrates the A in STEAM as our visitors make some truly unique art pieces using traditional and not so traditional methods.
