By the magic of stained glass, this howling wolf takes on a blue hue by night, lit from interior lighting. By day, it looks more gray. The wood is a Black Cherry Burl, partially finished to a smooth surface, but keeping some of its rugged exterior representing the rough wilderness habitat of the wolf.
