Isolated rustic cottage high among fir trees over the Atlantic has magnificent ocean views from the South end of Cliff Island, 7.5 miles off Portland, Maine. The cottage has 3 bedrooms for six people (2 double and two twin), one and a half baths, a fully outfitted kitchen, big porches and endless woodland hikes.

There are no paved roads or stores. Bring your food or order delivery by boat from Whole Foods in Portland, Maine. You will be met at the Casco Bay Ferry dock on Cliff by Island resident Samantha Crowley who will take you to the house and show you the ropes. The island is 2 1/2 x 1/4 miles, so it's very walkable. A golf cart included for picking up guests and groceries is standard island transportation. Walking and nearby beaches ae heaven.
