For a priceless walk down memory lane...

Waimea School - as we know it today - started in 1916 and celebrated it's Centennial in 2016, though there are memories of a school here in Waimea as far back at the late 1800s.  Waimea School separated into two schools, and K-5, and a 6-8 in 2000, and the families, teachers and staff of Waimea Middle voted to become the State's first public conversion charter school under a new law in 2003.
