Lovely bowl with beige glaze and a shy bear, painted in blue glaze, peeking up from the bottom of the bowl. Practical for use or as an interesting display item. This bowl was hand-thrown in Humboldt County by Ingrid Nickelsen.

lngrid Nichelsen was a Humboldt County artist who created rustic ceramics early in her career, but was best known later for her vibrant paintings. More of her work and that of other women artists will be exhibited at the Morris Graves Museum in 2022. The Ingrid Nichelsen Trust supports women artists in Humboldt County.

The winning bidder may pick up this item between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday at the Breast and GYN Health Project, 987 8th Street, Arcata, CA (Next to the Arcata Co-op). Please call us to schedule your pick up during this crazy COVID-19 period. Masks are required. Special pick-up times can be arranged: call 707-825-8345 or email Rosegz@hcbhp.org. We are willing to make arrangements for after-hours and weekend pick-ups. We will be closed on November 26th and 27th for Thanksgiving.
