Description

Striking deep bowl in beige/ivory glaze with multiple chili pepper layered images with dark blue background. The outside has ridging to add to the effect. It is glazed so it can be used as a serving bowl or would be equally useful as an accent piece. 


This bowl was hand-thrown in Humboldt County by Ingrid Nickelsen.

lngrid Nichelsen was a Humboldt County artist who created rustic ceramics early in her career, but was best known later for her vibrant paintings. More of her work and that of other women artists will be exhibited at the Morris Graves Museum in 2022. The Ingrid Nichelsen Trust supports women artists in Humboldt County.

The winning bidder may pick up this item between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday at the Breast and GYN Health Project, 987 8th Street, Arcata, CA (Next to the Arcata Co-op). Please call us to schedule your pick up during this crazy COVID-19 period. Masks are required. Special pick-up times can be arranged: call 707-825-8345 or email Rosegz@hcbhp.org. We are willing to make arrangements for after-hours and weekend pick-ups. We will be closed on November 26th and 27th for Thanksgiving.
