Each Ashbead is unique.  The winning bidder may choose either a round or lentil shaped bead in small, medium or large, with a sterling silver chain.  Every bead is handmade with care and respect.  See the

She encourages people getting an Ashbead to provide a photo, letter or story about your loved one that you'd like to share, along with the ashes.  She will keep your story close as she creates your special Ashbead, meditating on the love that was given and received during the lifetime of your loved one.

The Round Beads are completely round like a ball. The sizes are:

Small = 1/2" diameter (about the size of a cooked garbanzo bean)

Medium = 5/8" diameter (about the size of a standard marble)

Large = 3/4" diameter (about the size of a cherry tomato)





Lentil Bead sizes are approximately 10 mm thick, by:

Small = 9/16" diameter (size of a skittle)

Medium = 11/16” diameter (size of a dime)

Large = 12/16" diameter (size of a nickel)





The only difference between the Lentil and a Round bead is a flattened backside on the Lentil (folks like this if they want a bead to lay flat against their chest, rather than bounce around as the Round bead does). Merry's signature ash "Swirl" design is seen on both sides of the Lentil and Round beads.
