Description
Blue Ridge Mountains Woodland Wonders Bracket Fungi Brooch. This unusual broach is made from the bracket fungi that is found in woodlands on trees and stumps in Virginia. The fungi is dried, pressed and attached to a piece of leather for stability. It looks fragile, which adds to it's uniqueness and is so delicate with rings similar to those you'd find in a tree cutting. Additional natural materials enhance the broach. It could be worn with anything since the colors are all muted and in natural tones.

The winning bidder may pick up this item between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday at the Breast and GYN Health Project, 987 8th Street, Arcata, CA (Next to the Arcata Co-op). We are willing to make arrangements for after-hours and weekend pick-ups. We will be closed on November 26th and 27th for Thanksgiving.
