Description
Since Joan Butler retired in 2016 from nearly 35 years as Executive Director of Minuteman Senior Services, she has been exploring a wide range of art medium. "When I stumbled across cyanotype, I felt like I found my artistic home base as here was a unique and challenging way to use my many photographs with a dab of chemistry, technology, nature and mixed media all thrown in. Cyanotype gives the art viewer a visual challenge: to see the familiar color-filled world through a monochromatic Prussian blue lens."
Joan's work has been featured and sold at the Concord Center for Visual Arts and the Belmont Gallery of Art, and will be on display at Gallery Twist in Lexington from December 3 through January 2.
"On Walden Pond" is an original print, matted to 14"x11"
Special Instructions
Items will be available for pickup starting December 8th. Items that can be sent in a first class envelope will be mailed for free on December 9th, but the winning bidder accepts any risk. The cost of any items lost or damaged in transit, if not insured, will not be reimbursed by Minuteman Senior Services. If the winning bidder would like their item sent insured or with tracking, they will be responsible for delivery charges.
