Description

Naugatuck sign painted with "Old Village Paint" (the oldest paint company in the country), then hand stenciled, hand painted, glazed to accentuate the grain and then top coated in a flat finish to simulate that 100+ year old look. Finally, two rusted primitive star are added to the upper corners, then they are framed with Tobacco Laths (the sticks used to dry tobacco leaves) that have been reclaimed from Connecticut River Valley tobacco farms. Connecticut tobacco history started with the Native Americans in the 1600's, to our present day where it is one of the most sought after cigar wrapper in the world.
