Chess Tutors is an award-winning program introduced to La Ballona in 2007 and 14 years later now making a comeback! A diverse, talented team of chess instructors will engage students in all aspects of the game. The curriculum builds social skills, life skills, analytical skills, and mathematical skills.
Sessions are four weeks and 50 minutes of learning/playing chess according to skill level.

Students can coordinate make up classes or virtual classes through Chess Tutors. Each class has a max of 30-40 students.
