Learn how to make sticky rice cakes or "Banh Trung" to celebrate the Vietnamese New Year! This is an awesome cultural and culinary adventure for a group of four! The Vietnamese New Year is February 1, 2022, so the time/date will be mutually agreed on before then.

A box of necessary supplies will be ready for pick up in Culver City a week ahead of time so that you can put perishable food items in your fridge. This will include special banana paper, sticky rice, yellow bean, and savory three layered pork. You will need a crock pot or large boiling pot or instant pot during the hands-on demo. You will also have a small amount of things to prepare ahead of the day (e.g. soaking the rice). The Zoom demo will last 2 hours, and there will be 1-4 hours of cooking time after class is over. Serves 4-6 people.
