Description
64" x 80" Pendleton blanket from the Turquoise Trail collection in the color Agave. 82% pure wool, 18% cotton (warp).
The Turquoise Trail meanders through a Southwest landscape of mountains, canyons, forests and rock formations. The turquoise stones first mined there by Native Americans 2,000 years ago gave the ancient path its present name. Today the trail is a National Scenic Byway that runs from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, New Mexico, passing through the old mining towns of Golden, Madrid and Los Cerillos. Our Turquoise Trail pattern is woven in the tradition of Navajo striped blankets of the late 1800s. The serrated diamond design and bright colors combined to create a pulsating optical effect that made the blankets popular with trading posts and tourists and earned them the name "eyedazzlers." And it's what gives the Turquoise Trail design an ever-contemporary look and timeless appeal that reaches across the centuries. Twin is felt-bound, other sizes have Ultrasuede® trim. Unnapped. 82% pure virgin wool/18% cotton. Dry clean. Made in the USA.
