Train is an American roots rock band from San Francisco, formed in 1993. 

Train released their debut album in 1998 and achieved mainstream success with the hit song Meet Virginia. The group's 2001 album Drops of Jupiter won them 2 Grammy awards and went double platinum in the United States and Canada. Since then, the group has released four more albums, the most recent being released in April 2012.
