Artist Statement:

I have been making art all of my life, so it certainly does affect my mental health, in that when I am not making art or engaged in self expression, I feel unbalanced and not in touch with myself. I have made a number of pieces of art to express my concerns over racial injustice, and have participated in the annual Richmond, VA Black Lives Matter Art Show for many years.
