Artist Statement:

Creating art helps me mentally because it allows me to focus on one thing and put the things making me stressed and anxious out of my mind, even if it is for a short while. I just graduated from art school, and my studio projects are what kept me sane over the past four years. With school over, I am facing so many life changes and the stress over it is overwhelming. But, with these changes, I also have more time to do whatever art projects I want to do. Creating art is really helping me through the challenges I currently face. It's a wonderful distraction and gives me something to look forward to every single day.
