Summit Elementary is in its 5th year as a Spanish dual language immersion school.

Students in the program learn in both English and Spanish. Currently there are 10 dual language classrooms.  

To effectively operate this program the school needs library resources in both English and Spanish.  A fund has been seeded to build an endowment for the Summit library.  This will help the school increase their collection of high interest books written in Spanish and sustain the program into the future.  Currently .9% of the library's books are in Spanish.  Students in all grades need more books.
