Wine Spectator honored The Grandview Restaurant in 2021 with its award of excellence for having an outstanding wine list!
The donated wines include:
- A 2016 Feather from the Long Shadows Vintner Collection- generous blackberry aromas & flavors with a hint of sage and an appealing earthiness, this classic Cabernet Sauvignon displays well-integrated oak spice that makes for a wonderfully complex wine. Rich & expressive on the mid-palate, the tannins are firm, yet refined. The result is a multi-layered mouthfeel with dark fruit flavors that linger across a long, satisfying finish.
- A 2012 Lan Reserva- bright, ripe cherry red. Intense & complex in aromas. Aromas of ripe red fruit, enveloped in white flowers, almond blossom & broom. Touches of cinnamon & resinous notes. Velvety on the attack, smooth & delicate. It is elegant, balanced & harmonious on the palate. A long finish, leaving a pleasant aftertaste that encourages you to take another sip.
