Jenna Ritter was born & raised in New York City where the arts were an important part of her upbringing. On her first visit to Santa Fe, NM in 2012 she felt she had found home, and in 2015 she made a permanent move. In 2017 she began seriously working a personal art practice. Jenna continued intensive study with various esteemed teachers/artists in ceramics and painting - notably Clarence Cruz of Ohkay Owingeh who generously shared traditional methods of clay gathering, processing, building and firing.
Jenna currently shows her clay works as a member of the New Mexico Potters and Clay Artists (2020, 2021). She exhibited at the 2021 International Juried Exhibition Silver City Annual Clay Festival “Ruminations” and at the International Juried Show “From the Ground Up XXX” at the Las Cruces Museum of Art.
