Vintage Orvis Madison Impregnated Bamboo Fly Rod -  This pre-owned 2-piece is in mint condition.

This bamboo rod is a 7” 2-piece 6 weight, estimated to be built around 1969 by H.D.G (6).

The rod is in the original tube with sleeve and is the 3-7/8 oz model, Serial # 53731. It is suggested to fish well with a DT5F line. You can check Greg Reynolds' Orvis Database. If you don't find the rod there, shoot Orvis an email and they will generally provide you with the info you are looking for.
