Tony and Emmy Award winner Andrea Martin has been making people laugh since her early work in sketch comedy with Second City Television, but her journey to stardom began on the stage. After moving to Toronto in the early 1970s, she worked with a few future notable names you may recognize, like Victor Garber, Gilda Radner and Martin Short, in a local production of Godspell, music directed by Paul Shaffer. Since then, Martin has become a favorite of many thanks to memorable performances in films like My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. And she has taken home Broadway's top honor twice, first in 1993 for her Broadway debut in My Favorite Year, and again in 2013 for her amazing performance as Berthe in the celebrated revival of Pippin.
