Experience Broadway past and present with this exclusive theatrical excursion. You and a guest will get a private, guided tour of The Shubert Archive in the penthouse over Broadway's  Lyceum Theatre. The tour includes an introduction to the history of the Shuberts and a look at the archive's collections, which include costume and set designs, architectural plans, music, business records, correspondence and press materials. Learn all about one of the most famous theater dynasties on Broadway from their earliest days in Syracuse, NY, when three brothers started the organization in 1900 and to soon becoming the most powerful theater moguls in the country. 

Remember your trip through time with an autographed copy of The Shuberts Present: 100 Years of American Theatre, a coffee table book, personally inscribed during your tour by Mark Swartz, the archive's director and one of the book's authors.

You will also receive two VIP house seats for a show in any Shubert Organization theater.

Valid for performances and tours through September 1, 2022. Performances are subject to availability. Tour must be scheduled Monday through Friday, between 10 am and 5 pm, exclusive of holidays. Access to the archive is via one flight of 14 stairs. Masks required: All guests must wear a properly fitting mask over the nose and mouth in the theater except when eating or drinking in designated areas. Vaccination required: All guests must be fully vaccinated and must present digital or physical proof at the door. Photo ID: Guests ages 18 and older must present a valid government-issued photo ID. Guests under 18 may also show a school ID, birth certificate or social security card. Guests under 12 must be accompanied by an adult who meets the above requirements. Guests who do not comply with these policies will be denied entry or asked to leave the theater.
